Get Connected at Delaware libraries with services and resources!

The following are available for library in-use AND/OR checkout!

In need of a Chromebook or WiFi hotspot? At Delaware Libraries you can borrow technology! Each device comes with a case and chargers that can be borrowed for one week. Plus, there are no late fees – check one out today!

  1. Download the Delaware Libraries Mobile app!
  2. Login to your Account with your DE Library Card Number, then enter “Chromebook” or “WiFi Hotspot” in the search bar.
  3. Visit your public library in person to check out a device.

Chromebooks (computers) & Wi-Fi Hotspots provide patrons access to the internet for job searching, telehealth appointments, and more! And, you can borrow one or both for FREE!

  • Chromebooks are a type of laptop computer. They run the Chrome operating system with the best of Google built-in with multiple layers of security.
  • “WiFi” is a wireless router that acts as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot allowing your devices to connect to the internet.

Need a private, soundproof space to have a job interview, to talk to a therapist, and more? Delaware Libraries offers wheel-chair accessible spaces that fit 2-3 people, and include high-speed internet, iPads, and hand sanitizer stations. With the tablets, you can Zoom, Skype, and use other video-conferencing software for telehealth, legal support, and employment assistance. RESERVE a time at a “social service kiosk” at one of three Delaware Libraries, Milford Public Library, Laurel Public Library or Seaford District Library. (More coming to New Castle County Spring/Summer 2022)
